The new Lakota is an upgraded version of the tried and true Neo Wind Baron...increasing the 700 Watt rating to 900 Watts! With new props, and a number of electrical improvements, these "stealth" units provide up to 1500 W of surge power in the windiest areas. In some cases owners have reported over a 100 Amps!!!
The latest addition is the "nose cone", for increased aerodynamic efficiency-- absent in the above photos that show a Windseeker and Wind Baron with A-Max upgrades. The carbon fiber blades and altered electronics help these deliver serious power for generators slightly larger than ceiling fans...with far less noise than wood, steel, fiberglass or other "composite" blade materials!

Though this turbine is only slightly larger than the Lakota and Windseeker, the design and special control electronics make it capable of delivering over 2000 Watts in high winds! The prototypes are not expected to yield consumer versions anytime in the near future, so a Lakota is by far your best option today! Don't wait until subsidies disappear!
