| Our liability insurance requires customers agree to have a bike shop do the final out-of-carton assembly--or at have the shop conduct a wheel to wheel safety inspection prior to operating the bicycle. Please note these bikes have been drastically reduced in price because they're presently not in production. Electroportal, LLC expects to manufacture a line of bikes based on the Impulse System(/i) used in the CHARGER bike (or something similar...and to an extent, backwardly compatible), to keep the original bikes operating for years to come. The Chargers are definitely our best value in power assisted cycle products since they're now half the original price--no more expensive than non-powered bikes with similar quality cro-moly frame, double-wall rims with Nylon-Kevlar tires, 7 speed internal gear hubs and other fine Shimano components. Customers with well over 10K miles are proof the bikes are not only a good design, but hold up well. |
